“Grey Skies And Peace” - Explores my relationship with running through our local lanes and hills, sharing the mindful peace and comfort this brings. The Vale of Clwyd and the beautiful Clwydian range is the backdrop to my life. The rolling shapes of the hills and the pathways around them have helped to direct the development of this piece where I consider the nuances of the grey skies. Whatever the weather the majestic hills and the steady rhythm of my feet bring me peace. In this 20cm x 12cm textile piece, rather than showing one particular view, the spirit of the Clwydian range is captured giving a ‘sense of place.
