“Sunset Trees” - Explores my relationship with running through our local lanes and hills, sharing the mindful peace and comfort this brings. The Vale of Clwyd and the beautiful Clwydian range is the backdrop to my life. The rolling shapes of the hills and the pathways around them have helped to direct the development of this piece which celebrates my running in the hills and the beautiful sunsets over the Clwydian Hills. The original is a 20cm x 12cm textile piece, and rather than showing one particular view, the spirit of the Clwydian range is captured giving a ‘sense of place”
